The Weight Of Time

FINE ART STILL LIFE

The Weight Of Time explores the traces that time leaves upon objects, surfaces and memories. Through restrained composition, light and shadow, ordinary things become quiet witnesses to what has passed.

" Time does not simply pass. It settles into objects, giving them memory, weight and silence. "

An old violin rests silently beneath an image of its musical predecessors. Surrounded by worn wood and soft light, the instrument becomes a quiet reflection on music, memory and what remains when the song has ended.
